Today we went to the Bible Institute at Socioni. We taught about 14 pastors wives how to color the curriculum. We went at 9 and taught/supervised them til about 11:30. At the Bible Institute there were cute little ducks and chickens. As well as beautiful flowers and plants. The ladies were fantastic. It was a really good day.
Then Gladis and Kigwa met us and we walked to Pastor Thumbi's house for lunch. Gladis had her little nephew, Wade, with her. He is probably about 4 or 5 and he is adorable and so energetic! He would try to tickle me then I would tickle him and he would scream and yell and laugh. It was so funny. They fixed us chapatis, potatoes, and chicken. It was really good food. We also had tea and fanta and talked with Pastor Thumbi.
Their house is a mud house with windows and doors and many rooms. They hang sheets and white doily sheets over the walls acting as a sort of wall paper. The living room had furniture all around it and all of it was covered with white doilies. It was really nice. There was sukumi wiki outside in a garden and a greenhouse with tomatoes in it. Pastor Thumbi was really happy that we came to see his house and it was just really cool to be that much of a blessing to their family.
